How do they get that brilliant shine and radiant color into their cookware? Tiny shards of glass are seared into the colored coating. When the cookware piece is heated during production the glass fuses into the cookware pot leaving a mirror shine unlike anything else.

How Staub is Made

During the production process each item is inspected 100 times. Staub cookware is made using premium cast iron melted at ultra high temperatures. Each cookware pot is made using a single sand mold. The liquid cast iron is poured into the sand mold. Once finished, the sand mold is destroyed. Next, shot blasting millions of metal particles clean and finish the surface. Lastly, two to three internal and external layers of enameling is completed.
