How Le Creuset is Made

Each Le Creuset cookware pot takes 10 hours to make, and 15 people are involved in the manufacturing of each pot. Le Creuset cookware is made using premium cast iron melted at ultra high temperatures. Each cookware pot is made using a single sand mold. Once finished, the sand mold is destroyed and the sand is reused. Once the cast iron is heated into liquid, it is poured into the sand mold. After cooling, the sand is broken off the Le Creuset cookware and each pot is tested by an expert craftsman.
